My Tarot is Ready!

FINALLY after about three years, my Tarot deck is complete. I received my proof deck and it is UP and ready for purchase! This was truly a labor of love: research, book acquisition, sketching, and studying. Drawing 78 cards is not a small task, and there were times I wasn’t sure if I would actually follow through to completion.

But I did. And it’s here. It is my hope that persons who purchase find a colorful bit of joy in their divination practice.

Now We Wait

This is a screenshot of the first file I created when starting out on my Tarot deck-making journey! September 15, 2022. Granted, I started my studies a bit earlier than that, but this works as an official start date! And today, I have officially uploaded all the final art for my completed deck! In around a month I will have an actual deck of my own creation in my hand.

This has been an amazing project, and it gives me great joy to no longer be able to tell people “Yeah, I’m working on a Tarot deck.” No, I HAVE a Tarot deck, and it will be available for purchase soon!

More updates will follow, obviously, as well as a special section dedicated to Tarot on my website.

Initial Tarot Drawings Complete

The Hive Tarot

Drawing Progress
100% Complete
78 of 78 cards

I’ve kept my nose to the grindstone and FINALLY! After several years of puttering about and several months of deep work, I’ve completed all 78 drawings for my tarot deck, The Hive Tarot.

As a result, my fall schedule is going to be lighter than it has been in years past. Hopefully, I will have finished all of my editing and side work in time to have a nice stack of decks ready for this fall! More updates to follow!

Major Arcana: DONE

Big news today: I have finished the Major Arcana for the Tarot deck I have been working on! That’s 21 cards into my 78 card journey. I’ve been doing a lot of background work prepping for doing the pip cards: making patterns, color swatches, studying card history and meanings.

This has been an amazing project thus far: the sheer amount of art history alone crammed into these decks is incredible. Frankly, it’s been more fun for me to study the card history than to do actual practice readings! In any event, while hard to share my journey (Livestream me reading and taking notes? No thanks haha) I do broadcast live on YouTube every Tuesday while I’m drawing each card. I can’t wait to see what the next cards bring!
